PSM will be delivering coverage of the AFC’s major national team and club competitions for the 2021 to 2024 rights cycle
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today announced that PSM will be their new media partner in Maldives to broadcast the AFC’s competitions from 2021 to 2024.
The deal includes major AFC national team and club competitions, including but not limited to the final round of the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar, the AFC Asian Cup China 2023, as well as the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup starting from the 2021 season.
PSM, the official State Media in Maldives, was launched in 2015 with the aim of creating awareness amongst the public by providing up-to-date news and fact-based shows for infotainment.
PSM will now be delivering extensive live coverage of the AFC competitions through their linear channel and partner digital service, PSM Connect, in addition to their already rapidly growing portfolio of rights including the previous FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship, as well as the local leagues, Dhivehi Premier League and Maldives FA Cup.
