Major AFC national team football campaign launched with great fanfare and support from Asia’s football legends, Member Associations and major media
The AFC today launched a dedicated campaign under the banner #OurPassionOurNations aiming to reignite passion for AFC national team football ahead of the remaining matchdays of the AFC Asian Qualifiers Round 2, in which the Continent’s top 40 national teams will compete to qualify for Round 3 in September 2021 and fight to move a step closer to participating in the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022.
The campaign hero film, launched today at 4pm HKT, celebrates the diversity of Asian cultures and people, and captures the very essence of what national team football means for Asia’s 1.8 billion national team football followers – that national pride lives in all of us and that as diverse as we may be, our hopes, our dreams and our passion unite us.
Football legends including China’s Fan Zhiyi, players, influencers, key opinion leaders, major news and media outlets all over Asia, as well as AFC Member Associations are actively supporting the campaign and promoting the related content to their massive audiences locally.
Over the next weeks and months, the AFC will launch a series of highly localized AFC national team football themed contents across social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Weibo, WeChat, Toutiao, Dong Qiu Di, Douyin, LINE, Telegram and VKontakte.
Football Marketing Asia (FMA) – the AFC’s exclusive commercial partner – will work closely with sponsors of AFC national team competition to develop additional, unique content production to entertain and engage fans of the AFC and audiences beyond.
